Live Project: Skid Software in ruby using Ruby on Rails framework. http://www.skid.org.in
Skid is software, which is designed to help kids communicate and learn. Children who cannot speak properly, including many with cerebral palsy and autism, are denied access to a regular school, even though they could communicate in other ways, for instance using a computer. It is such other ways, that Skid explores.
My Responsibilities: I have made two modules under the guidance of Prof. Arun Mehta Managing Director Indata Pvt. Ltd.
Module 1(Send mail): This allows a person suffering from Autism to send mail just by using racing wheels since they cannot type properly (currently working).
Module 2(Text Editor): which allows the child to edit the text.
